At the scale of architecture · the precision of art
One studio where the art, the material, and the structure are the same hand.
A permanent home for the International Cathedra for the Study of Ethiopian Jewry, and the studio's largest heritage commission to date. Sculpted walls, lit niches, artefact vitrines and a full documentary wall, built as one continuous room rather than a set of displays. It is the first time an academic institution has commissioned this work as material to be studied rather than decoration.

Sculpted plaster, painted landscape, and archival content, worked into one room.
A luxury dining room where the walls are not clad; they are carved. Every surface is made by hand: sculpted concrete, bent wood, stone worked into a single continuous atmosphere. Nothing here is bought off a shelf.

Concrete, stone, and wood, worked entirely by hand into one space.
Before the studio built rooms, it painted at the scale of buildings. Avi Tal holds the Guinness World Record for the largest spray-painted mural by a single artist: 2,038 square metres by one hand. Large-scale murals and painted facades remain part of the studio's practice, in Israel and internationally.
Known in the art world as Spine B7, he has spent nearly two decades where fine art, architecture, and raw material meet. The street taught him scale. A decade at the Aviation Club of Israel and a Technion program in aerodynamics and structural integrity taught him how to make it stand.
His father was born in Ismail, Ukraine (Ізмаїл — a city in southern Ukraine on the Danube River) and moved to Ternopil as a young child.
That is why a Shidrah space is not decorated. It is built as a single work of art the size of a building: sculpted, structural, and made to last. He knows what a surface does over twenty years of weather.
Every line is drawn directly on the wall. No projectors, no stock imagery, no scaled prints, no vinyl.
He set the Guinness World Record for the largest spray-painted mural by a single artist: 2,038 m².

Two counters worked from one surface, lit from beneath.
A single artistic mind, executed by a dedicated team across Israel and the United States.

Museum-grade installations that hold memory, including the national Ethiopian Jewish heritage rooms.
More than ten heritage and memorial rooms, each commissioned by the municipality it stands in: Yokneam Illit, Jerusalem, Lod, Hadera, Afula, Be'er Sheva. Built with Amram Aklum, who walked the Sudan route out of Ethiopia and has spent his life documenting it.

The studio takes on a limited number of projects each year. Write about the space and the vision. No spec sheet needed, a first conversation is enough.
